Recently at a political event when a far-right Christian told Vivek Ramaswamy “Hinduism Is A Wicked, Pagan Religion, it’s completely incompatible with America.” and then asked to say who this God is. “Is it Waheguru, the one that was blasphemously prayed to at the RNC? Is it one of these other Hindu deities, or is it our lord and saviour’s Jesus Christ,”?
Vivek Ramaswamy’s sharp reaction and further debate can be watched in the video but this again shows with proof how deep Hinduphobia is embedded in the US mindset through its hardcore Christian lobby which is also claiming Yoga is Hindu and demonic and will lead its victims into the sequel of The Exorcist walking on their palms and feet upside down going down the stairs with Guru Satan guiding you.
Then we have the secular left-wing church replacing ‘demonic’ with ‘Hindu nationalism’ and ‘right-wing Hindu Brahminical caste slave oppression’. You see the mindset and narrative of both sides of the left and right are exactly the same but with the left especially with its political correctness of trying to sound non-racist or like religious right-wing Christian bigots but spews the same Hinduphobic hate.
At least with the Right-wing Christians, they’re more truthful about what they think and even link yoga with Hinduism while the left tries to divorce Yoga from Hinduism because of its popularity but then claims connecting Hinduism to it will turn you into a Hindu bigot.
We see the academic fraud and politically correct talking points in use by ultra-right-wing Audery Trukshe whose own family background is from hardcore Methodist Christians and missionaries while later she married into a far-right Baptist missionary family that also has Christian conversion programmes in India.
And somehow we are meant to believe she’s not Hinduphobic with her background because she uses left/liberal/progressive accepted politically correct Hinduphobic talking points to push her right-wing Christian agenda. Hindu lobbies in the US need to be much more vocal and on the ground to expose this extreme hinduphobic religious hate and racism which so far they have totally failed to do.
