London Protest : Over Atrocities Against Hindus and Other Minorities in Pakistan

Recently, people gathered outside the high commission of Pakistan in London to seek justice and protest against persecution of minorities. February 24, 2012 is a black day in the history of Pakistan. On this day last year, a Sindhi Hindu girl, Rinkle Kumari, was kidnapped by a Member of Parliament affiliated to the ruling Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). Though the girl claimed that she had been abducted, the support from Chief Justice Iftikhar Chaudhry was not forthcoming. There are reports of at least 20 to 25 Sindhi Hindu girls being kidnapped each month to victimize the indigenous Sindhis, and minorities like the Hindus Christians, Sikhs, and Ahmedis. Some of them are killed or even forced to convert. Their places of worship are either occupied or destroyed.
