A lone Hindu male went into Hanuman mode after being attacked by a gang of Islamists for playing the Hanuman Chalisa in his shop in Bengaluru. Even with the odds against him he doesnt show any fear but fights back hard and even goes outside his shop to fight them on the street. A Hindu shopkeeper named Mukesh was reportedly assaulted by a group of young individuals on Sunday, the 17th of March. The attack occurred as Mukesh was playing Hanuman Chalisa and other Hindu devotional songs in his shop, which is situated close to a mosque. The incident unfolded on Jumma Masjid Road within the Siddanna Galli vicinity. As per a report, the individual who was targeted operates a business called Vardhaman Telecom located in Siddanna Galli. Surveillance footage captured the moment when a group of 5 to 6 perpetrators entered the victim’s shop on a Sunday evening.

He tells me that every evening, he had a practice of playing devotional songs on his speaker…Yesterday, a few miscreants came to his shop and started an argument with him and demanded him to switch off and stop playing the Hanuman Chalisa. When he refused, he was pulled out and 6-7 miscreants thrashed and attacked. You can see the injuries that he has sustained. Even after submitting a detailed written complaint, the local Police did not register an FIR. It was registered only after the intervention of PC Mohan, myself and local BJP leaders that the FIR was registered at a belated stage. The locals here are apprehensive that the Police have filed a diluted FIR and added names of certain people who may not be involved in the crime itself…Only 3 people have been attested and apprehended by the Police.
